We need community help to push for the park to not only rescue these domestic waterfowl but also take necessary measures to stop the dumping.

The domestic ducks and geese who were abandoned, which have previously been rescued in the past had been shot, decapitated, had spiral fractures, hot oil pored on then, necks stripped of feathers and skin, bleeding due to over breeding with no protection, and all were underweight, if not starving. Ascarate Park is in the county.

We are asking that El Paso start to be humane and acknowledge these domestic animals be treated with compassion. Their lives matter.

Please allow rescue groups to monitor and remove these vulnerable birds that cannot fly to safety.
