Boys at Eisenhower High School want an opportunity to wear shirts without collars as part of the dress code. The boys understand the guidelines of the school dress code and the consequences that come with if it is violated. We are taking matters into our own hands because we are not happy with our dress code where we are required to wear collared shirts at all times. It may seem small or unimportant but it is a big deal to us who have to follow it. We as students wish to express ourselves more freely by using our clothes and with the collared shirts policy we find that hard to do. We are not asking for much but only that we are allowed to wear appropriate shirts without collars. Our school district, Aldine, has already taken part in this we hope you do too.
