the king lud is an integral part of the community, and many people have been affected by its loss, we would like enterprise to re open the establishment as soon as possible and where possible reinstate the staff who lost their jobs without notice.

The king lud has always been a hub of diversity, creativity and a centre for those of us (luddites) who call it our second home and safe place, where all are welcome.

The king lud has provided entertainment for all including karaoke, poker nights, quiz nights, live music and the ever popular ludfest events which have contributed to charitable causes on numerous occasions, including the public access defibrillator.

We feel The king lud has the potential and location to be a highly profitable and viable business. For various reasons the venue has lost valuable customers over the years, however we are possitive that with the right new owners/management many of these people will return.
