This beloved pet dog SHALBY was shot on 6/7/2023 by Egyptian government agents. He was shot twice, once in the head and once on the side of the body penetrating his skull and spleen. He was in agony as the agent shot him and left him to suffer and die. He was rushed to an emergency vet by bystanders and witnesses and his owner but he could not be saved. There is no mercy for animals in Egypt. The owner is devastated and the community is mourning for him. He was a sweet natured dog that everyone loved. Egypt is becoming very aggressive in it's tactics to exterminate dogs and is not even attempting to help control the dog and cat population by spay and neuter programs. It wants them all dead and gone. It does not matter if it is a stray or someone's pet they are targeting all dogs and cats. Between poisonings and shootings of these animals the Egyptian government is displaying in no uncertain terms that they are ruthless beyond words. Share my petition and let us make it clear to Egypt that the world is watching and finds it unacceptable and heinous cruelty.
