Affordable housing is not only a challenge for Seattle - it is an insidious issue plaguing America and the rest of the world.

This petition is a result of the discombobulation that was felt when we, the residents of Squire Park Plaza, were informed that the building we live in was being sold to a for-profit entity last Friday evening. The for-profit developer has the dubious distinction of being known as the "Walmart" of real estate investment and management.
