Keep the Central Area's Squire Park Plaza affordable for families, seniors and the disabled!

This petition had 416 supporters

Affordable housing is not only a challenge for Seattle - it is an insidious issue plaguing America and the rest of the world.

This petition is a result of the discombobulation that was felt when we, the residents of Squire Park Plaza, were informed that the building we live in was being sold to a for-profit entity last Friday evening. The for-profit developer has the dubious distinction of being known as the "Walmart" of real estate investment and management.

We need to get the word out and get it out now! This is where you can help us. Please sign the petition. Please share it with your friends and colleagues on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and via email. If we can get Mayor Ed Murray's attention and involvement, this impending sale can be averted.
