In schools ableism is practiced. People with disabilities don’t get the same opportunities as others, my friend has high functioning autism and is the smartest person in the school, but she isn’t in advanced classes like everyone else because of her disability. This happens all over the country and their voices need heard! They aren’t any different than us and they deserve the choice to be in whatever classroom environment they want to be in!!
