As part of an educational organization in Kerala, this matter holds personal significance for me. Our state government is advancing a bill to promote the establishment of private universities which could disrupt our education system. The Left government, renowned for supporting equal opportunities, must not deviate from its principles. A government nod to private universities can not only increase the cost of education but also create disparities in access to opportunities. We beseech the LDF government to reevaluate their decision and keep our education system public, inclusive, and equitable.
