Serial Abduction Efforts at Alief ISD, Channel 13 News Report

There was no mention of this December 2021 student abduction attempt at the districts February 08, 2022 Safety and Security Meeting.
The district has all of this bond money but won’t fix the fence at Best Elementary which is clearly a risk to the safety of our kids and staff.
The district has a serial attempted child abductor running loose in our district but the school board was laser focused during the March 22, 2022 board meeting about shortening parents’ speaking time during patron presentations at board meetings from 5 minutes down to 3 minutes (Board Policy Bed (Local)).
This serial abduction efforts on SCHOOL GROUNDS, during SCHOOL HOURS, is not a city council issue, it is an Alief ISD responsibility so why is the former teacher, parents, and media being referred to city council?
Why did the parents nor the teacher speak at a school board meeting about their concerns, but are willing to travel downtown, outside of the district, to attend a city council meeting? Alief ISD Educator Marie Cortes, Alief ISD Parent Thelma Del Angel.
Why does Alief ISD not get the same level of media scrutiny and investigative reporting as HISD?
At what point does a safety and security concern get shared with all parents and staff by the district?
Our teachers and staff are so scared of retaliation that they wait until they are no longer employed by the district before they choose to come forward about concerns, which are clearly important.
Alief ISD has reduced the districts police force by changing job duties and responsibilities to now include public relations specialist, which was used by Board President Ann Williams for her campaign for the Harris County, Precinct 4 County Commissioner seat. Alief ISD Police Officer Mike Alvarez.
