Dear Supporters,
Thank you for standing with me in exposing the misleading practices of UpGrad and Golden Gate University (GGU). Your support has been overwhelming, and I truly appreciate every signature, comment, and share.
Recently, Pradeep Poonia, a well-known EdTech whistleblower who previously exposed Byju’s unethical practices, has spoken out in support of this petition.
🔴 What Pradeep Poonia Said About UpGrad's Scam:
💬 "EdTech courses should only be sold via monthly subscriptions, not loans! None of these are worth taking on debt."
💬 "I’ve seen many students suffer due to UpGrad. EdTech companies are putting students in loan traps!"
Pradeep was one of the first people in India to expose Byju’s for using predatory sales tactics to push students into high-cost courses and education loans—a model that UpGrad is now following. Byju’s unethical strategies led to thousands of complaints, financial distress among families, and even legal cases against the company.
🔹 What’s Happening Now?
More students are coming forward with their own stories of financial and emotional loss due to UpGrad’s misleading claims.
Legal pressure is building—some students have received refunds after threatening legal action, proving that UpGrad is aware of its wrongdoing.
We need to keep pushing! This petition is gaining traction, but we need more voices to demand accountability from UpGrad, GGU, and the investors behind them.
