I am a huge fan of Tia Marie Torres, owner of VillaLobos Rescue Center, her husband AJ, daughters Tania and Tia, son Kenane and all the parolees she has hired and helped over the years. In 2007, I believe, AJ was sent back to prison after a tip provided the police with information that one of the parolees had a stolen bike on their property, which, in turn, violated AJ's parole. Sent back to prison for a period of 15 more years for this latest crime he did NOT commit, Susanne Johnson, from Seldon, NY began a petition asking for 200 signatures 3 years ago. After receiving only 109 of those 200, the petition was dropped. I have a LOT of dog-loving friends out here and I'm really hoping that, by restarting this petition, more people than even needed to grant this pardon will become available. Tia, family and parolees, you're doing an AMAZING job with all these dogs, pitbulls, strays, injured or otherwise, and I hope this will help in some way to get AJ back home.
