A MAJOR NEW MILESTONE! Over 5,000 people have signed to petition to Save Edmonds Beach from being turned into a concrete overpass!

FYI - At the public works council committee meeting last night a city officials shared their doubts and skepticism about the legitimacy of this petition - even going so far as to say: We don’t even know who these people are? It’s a national thing, they might not even be from Edmonds! - Let me assure you city official, the VAST MAJORITY of the signatures are from Edmonds and the surrounding communities and we our determined to shut this project down and save the beach!

P.S. Kudos to Councilmember Kristiana Johnson last night for asking the right questions in what felt like a very challenging one-sided atmosphere.
