Now that I am a senior at EMHS, I now understand how short our lunch time really is. We are legally allowed to leave campus for lunch. However, we don't really have that much time. From the time we leave the school we have about 30 minutes to eat and come back or else we are late. Because of the short amount of time we are given to eat, many must practically shove food down their throats so they don't continuously take tardies coming back from lunch. I am asking that Edmond Public Schools to add 15 minutes onto the high school lunchtimes. An easy way to do this would be to remove "Tutorial". Many students don't even use it for its purpose. Instead of asking teachers for help on homework, about 95% of students hangout in the commons and just talk. Wasted time if you ask me. So why not just add it on to lunch? -Edmond Public Schools student body
