Stop 60% mandatory Nonresident Montana Hunts to be guided Bill

The Issue

Allocates 60% of nonresident elk and deer tags to hunters using an outfitter reducing tags that would otherwise be self-guided non-residents.

-Self-guided non-residents will see a huge reduction in their opertuntiy to hunt deer and elk in Montana

-Licenses that are not sold by March 30th to a licensed outfitter, will go into a general draw

Adjustments would take place 2022

We as hunters of America should have the right to hunt elk and deer in Montana without an outfitter and this bill should not be passed, because it goes goes against our ethics of hunting and what we believe and stand for. We are asking to dismiss this bill and it's content in the future.

If there was good reason behind this bill it wouldn't be to sell out tags to outfitters it would be to protect wildlife and their environment. We know that's not the case here and that should not be acceptable. This is about something else and we don't support that in any way.

We also want to thank you for your time and consideration in this matter. It is of great value to us and hope it's just as important to all who reads this.

Sincerely - All who signed this petition to stop this bill from being passed - Jed A.
