Here is the Latest Update regarding the Temporary Car parking Spaces to be provided at Edmondson Park and Leppington Stations PLUS Paper Petition Signature Sheets are now available at Bringelly Shops.
EDMONDSON PARK STATION UPDATE
Liverpool Councillor Nathan Hagarty posted this information regarding the proposed temporary Carpark at Edmondson Park Station.
His Facebook Post reads "Due to pressure from the community, Council and local MPs, Transport for NSW have confirmed they will be constructing a temporary car park while the multistory car park at Edmondson Park is being built.
The temporary car park containing 183 spots will be located adjacent to the northern car park and will be completed prior to the closure of the southern car park."
I personally haven't received anything from Projects Transport for NSW, however there is some work being done on the site.
It will probably take a few more weeks to complete the work on the Temporary Carpark and also to complete the final construction plans and approval of the Multi Level Car Park.
Now this isn't all good news as I did a count of the spaces in the Northern Carpark and it is approximately 240 spaces currently.
So the temporary Carpark will have around 60 spaces less than are currently provided which will make finding spaces post Covid challenging again.
I will advise once I receive any further information.
LEPPINGTON STATION UPDATE
Great News about the temporary Carpark at Leppington Station with work set to begin soon.
Andrew Constance or someone must have found the key to the lock on the gate of the paddock across the road from the station.
The temporary car park is scheduled to open around September and will provide approximately 250 spaces for commuters while the station's new multi-storey car park is being built.
"It will offset the car parking spaces that will be unavailable during construction of the new multi-storey car park."
There is still no update on the Projects Transport for NSW website though.

Dear Mr Andjelkovic,
The geotechnical work for the new multi-storey car park is expected to begin in the coming weeks and progress throughout July. This work will take place to the west of the existing northern commuter car park and will not impact on access to any car parking spaces in the existing car park. The geotechnical work will help progress the detailed design, with construction work anticipated to start from August.
Transport for NSW is finalising plans for temporary parking close to the station at Leppington to minimise any inconvenience to our customers during the construction of the new multi-storey car park.
More information about the temporary car park will be shared with the community as soon as it is available.

EXTEND THE SOUTH WEST RAIL LINK PAPER PETITION
There are now Petition Signature Sheets at Bringelly Shops in the Post Office, the Cafe, LJ Hooker and the Takeaway.
