Five consecutive days of school kills motivation for students and teachers. One asynchronous day in the middle of the week can help lighten some of the work for students and staff. It could also improve their mental health. If Edison High were to return to hybrid, asynchronous Wednesdays would not be a problem. So forget the weird Wednesday schedule, and let students and staff take a break from meetings.
