Good morning Supporters.

Following on from yesterdays post, asking all of our supporters who have signed this petition to persuade ONE more person to sign, we thought it would be helpful to supply you with up to date figures.

As you can see from the graph above, we still have a healthy lead over the counter petition, however that lead has decreased with recent press coverage.

At the time of writing, the figures are:

Our Petition: 1623 signatures
Counter Petition: 1037 signatures 

If every one of our 1623 supporters here persuaded just one other person to sign, it would take us to over 3000 signatures...the power to do that is in your hands.

Of course, petitions are just one way of evidencing our case - we have other tools in our toolbox that we will be deploying to strengthen our case at the Deputation to Edinburgh Council in 30 days time.
