Edinburgh City Council are planning to make 80% of Edinburgh's roads a 20mph zone. There is no evidence to support this result and also no money as the council pleads to be CASH STRAPPED !! The 2.5million to be spent on this project should be spend on fixing the potholes and other services in our lovely city of Edinburgh rather than having a bottle neck, slow moving, traffic jammed city ! We are not against 20mph limit zones in school, park or play areas. This should be put to the Citizens of Edinburgh as a whole, not 2500 of hand picked people that give the drip fed answers from the transport committee. - words of Grant MacCusker
