Many younger children on scooters are being a issue and causing hassle within the saughton skatepark community - scooters are usually come with a younger user which are using the park as a playground - which means using the park as a skate park is not always being achieved, which makes bmxing, inline and skating dangerous and using the park is like a minefield. Also a number of users are getting verbally attack and mistreated from parents whom have let their children "play" in the park. These children and the parents would not be using the park if there was a ban on scooters which then means that the skatepark can be used as a skatepark not a day care.
