Plans were released on Thursday for segregated lanes and parking removal on Slateford Road.  You can view them here: tinyurl.com/SlatefordRoad and you have until 5pm on Wednesday 24 February to email comments to: spacesforpeople@edinburgh.gov.uk

Areas which may be of concern include:

• Safety—floating parking; cycle lanes under the Meggetgate railway bridge; dangerous layouts where cycle lanes end.
• Congestion—traffic flow will be impacted, and will cause congestion, especially near Meggetgate / Allan Park Road.
• Access—Parking is being removed along the route and will affect residential and business access.

In your email remember to be firm but polite, be specific, and give your name and address.  We also recommend including councillors on the Transport and Environment Committee.  Here's the full email address list to use:
