Petition update

URGENT UPDATE -- Please write to councillors before Thursday

Derryck REID
Edinburgh, SCT, United Kingdom

Nov 16, 2020 —

Hi everyone,

So at their meeting on Thursday 12 November the Transport and Environment Committee voted in favour of introducing segregated cycle lanes etc for Lanark / Longstone / Inglis Green Roads (7:4 in favour), BUT...an intervention by Cllr Susan Webber has now forced the matter to be referred to full council, which meets THIS THURSDAY (Nov 19th).

It's important that as many people as possible write to all 62 of the councillors (it can be the same email!). Below I've given the full list, which hopefully you can cut and paste easily.

Our bit comes up at the full council meeting this Thursday as Item 8j: https://edinburgh.public-i.tv/core/portal/webcast_interactive/524814

Thanks so much for your support.  There are now 1404 of us who oppose these undemocratic proposals.

Derryck Reid
