We are the Friends of the Edinburgh Community Farm. We are made up of over 70 former Gorgie City Farm staff, Gorgie residents, and Edinburgh Community members who are committed to keeping the community farm in Gorgie open to all, educational, transparent, ecologically sustainable, and accountable to the local community.

We are asking the Edinburgh City Councillors to pledge to uphold the following criteria for the future of the farm:

1. Be financially transparent
2. Support for the local community
3. Offer employee security
4. Deliver an accessible public space
5. Follow a social and educational ethos
6. Ensure ecological sustainability

If you support these criteria, please sign the petition to ask Councillors to support as well.

If you want to do more, tweet @adamrmcvey, @DenisDixonSNP, @ashleyannotate, or @Fullertoncathy that you have signed the petition and would like them to publicly support the criteria!
