Hello All - The momentum of this campaign is gaining steam...4500 signatures from supporters of the effort to get NYS to operate Big Tupper!  Many of you know this would have a huge impact on our regional economy.  I was part of the effort to create a tourism marketing plan for Tupper Lake and Franklin County, but with the greatest four season recreational asset in southern Franklin County sitting idle year after year, we are spinning our wheels in this end of the county.  Snowmobiling is great when we have 3 plus feet on snow to cover the C7 trail...but other than that, our communities and our small businesses are starving for winter business!  I am so thankful that I didn't give in to the critics or my own doubts, this effort will succeed if we continue to speak up!  Next steps will include a letter writing campaign and phone calls to our NYS representatives!  Thank you all for the energy and positive responses.
