EBS, Bring back the MOLEN stations!
The Issue
(English below) Vanaf 08.01.2023. stations Verfmolen, Korenmolen, Poldermolen in Grote Waal zullen niet meer bestaan. Het EBS-bedrijf met bus 314 heeft besloten dat er GEEN haltes meer op die stations komen.
In plaats daarvan hebben de inwoners van Grote Waal slechts 1 station - Houtzaagmolen, dat voor sommige mensen 9 tot 15 minuten lopen is. Ook verhoogde EBS de prijzen voor minimaal 15 euro per maand en bijna 2 euro per enkele reis. We vinden het niet erg om de prijzen te verhogen wegens crisis, maar we vinden het erg om onze stations weg te nemen in naam van alle bewoners van de Grote Waalbuur.
Hier wonen veel oude mensen, veel gehandicapten, veel mensen die in andere grotere steden werken en het zich niet kunnen veroorloven om nog meer naar een ver station te reizen. De meeste mensen die nieuw zijn in Grote Waal en huizen kochten, kochten ze vanwege de handige busstations. De bus 314 vanaf 01.08.2023. zal slechts 5 minuten korter rijden, omdat er niet wordt gestopt bij bovengenoemde drie stations.
Dit verschil is niets, maar voor de Grote Waalbewoners betekent het veel dat de stations er weer zijn en dat de bussen daar stoppen. WIJ WILLEN ONZE STATIONS TERUG! Steun en teken alstublieft, zelfs als u een auto heeft, denk aan uw buren die geen auto hebben of een andere mogelijkheid hebben om te reizen dan met de bus! DANK JE WEL!
(English) From 08.01.2023. stations Verfmolen, Korenmolen, Poldermolen in Grote Waal will not exist anymore. The EBS company with the bus 314 decided that there will be NO MORE stops at those stations. Instead, the citizens of Grote Waal will have only 1 station - Houtzaagmolen which is, for some people, 9 to 15 minutes away. Also, EBS raised their prices for minimum of 15 euros per month and almost 2 euros per single ticket, one way.
We do not mind raising the prices due to crisis, but we mind taking away our stations in the name of all residents of Grote Waal neighboring. Here many old people live, many disabled, many people who work in other bigger cities and cannot afford traveling even more to far away station. Most people who are new in Grote Waal and bought houses, bought them because of the handy bus stations.
The bus 314 from 08.01.2023. will drive only 5 minutes shorter, because it will not stop to above mentioned three stations. This difference is nothing, but to Grote Waal residents it means a lot that the stations are back and that the busses stops at them. WE WANT OUR STATIONS BACK! Plese support and sign, even if you have car, think of your neighboring who do not have car or any other possibility to travel but by bus! DANKJEWEL!
