Ashley Turner started this petition to eBay and

Many sellers that are located in the Mainland UK are denying buyers that are located in Northern Ireland the right to bid or buy on some listings on eBay UK (ebay.co.uk) and eBay international (ebay.com) because sellers are allowed to exclude Northern Ireland from the rest of the UK. As a Northern Ireland resident, I feel strongly that this treatment is VERY unfair to buyers that live in Northern Ireland and I am proposing a positive change. At present Ebay UK allows sellers in England, Wales and Scotland have the option to exclude buyers in Northern Ireland from the postage settings and this needs to change because Northern Ireland is part of the UK as well.

I am proposing that this exclusion will be removed on eBay entirely and that buyers in Northern Ireland should be allowed to bid on any eBay UK listings that offer UK postage without being geographically blocked which would in turn remove this discrimination against buyers located in Northern Ireland and I wish for buyers in Northern Ireland to be treated fairly and equally as per the rest of the UK. Royal Mail operates here in Northern Ireland as well as the Mainland UK and therefore most of the postages rates for standard parcels is the same price.

If you are located in Northern Ireland or you have family and friends living in Northern Ireland and you agree with my solution for this to change. Please sign this petition because we the people that stand together on this issue can make a positive change. Everyone is then treated fairly in the UK and it is only fair that buyers in Northern Ireland have the same right to bid or buy an item being sold on eBay UK where the item is offered with UK postage.
