Stop Ebay from selling Real Fur Products

Stop Ebay from selling Real Fur Products
The Issue
Well done to Ann Clarke for starting her petition to "Keep real fur off your fashion pages". Now, we need to get Ebay to ban the sale of ALL REAL FUR products imported from China & other countries. The RSPCA achieved a ban on all imports of cat and dog fur into the UK but it shouldn't stop there. ALL animals deserve the right to live safe, healthy lives. They shouldn't be subject to capture and cruelty just because they have beautiful fur.
I cannot believe in this day and age animals are made to suffer, being tortured, gassed and skinned alive just because of vanity - someone thinks they look good with fur on their back, or hanging from a beanie hat or a key chain. Shoppers need to be aware that what they think is Faux Fur is 99% of the time, not fake but real.
I have been sending emails/messages to companies for the last 8 months (including Harvey Nics), MP's and companies facebook pages in support of Respect for Animals, PAWS, PETA and many other animal welfare companies. I was disgusted to read the replies - it's ok because they believe the animals are treated humanely and the fur farms adhere to the Origin Assured scheme. As we know, this is a load of lies - the videos available on the internet speak for themselves (not that I can even watch them as it sickens me!).
Here is Harvey Nics reply:
We can confirm that Harvey Nichols will be offering customers fur and fur trimmed products, as well as faux fur products, as part of our SS2016 collections. Harvey Nichols is committed to sustainable and responsible practice across all areas of its business, and ethical trading is an important part of this programme. Harvey Nichols requires any brand that uses fur to adhere to the Origin Assured scheme. For more information about the scheme click here http://www.originassured.com/
Thank you for your interest in Harvey Nichols. Kind regards, CORPORATE AFFAIRS, HARVEY NICHOLS

So, lets collectively speak out and get Ebay.co.uk to ban the sale of anything with REAL FUR. The fur trade is cruel and inhumane. We need people to start standing up against it. The more we do, the less demand there will be and the fewer innocent animals there will be suffering horrible deaths. Ebay provides vast sales capacity for these overseas fur farms - if we take that away, then the reduced sales should hit these farms in a big way and reduce the slaughter of so many innocent animals.
Thank you for your support.
