However, we understand the importance of safety considerations and believe that measures can be taken to ensure that this remains a safe event for all. One idea is to designate a "water section" in the beginning of the parade, providing the option for those wanting to participate in the water fun and those choosing to abstain from the water an opportunity to do so.
By upholding this cherished tradition, we not only preserve our community's long standing custom but also uphold the spirit of joy and celebration that defines the 4th of July in Eaton's Neck. We urge the Fire Commissioners to continue allowing the tradition of water at the Eaton's Neck 4th of JulyParade.
