Save the date!
From 16 October - 20 October 2023 we will be hosting a photo exhibition in Parliament: “Eating Disorders: Unheard Stories of a Hidden National Tragedy”
At the exhibition you will see some powerful stories, hear about treatments and have the chance to add your name and thoughts to a board which will be delivered to the Prime Minister.
This event is not just an exhibition; it’s a movement toward change, compassion, and healing, and we need your support to make it happen. Imagine immersing yourself in a world of stories that will touch your heart and open your eyes to the realities faced by those battling eating disorders. These unheard stories, the voices that have been silenced for too long, will finally have the chance to be heard loud and clear.
Let’s come together to raise awareness and eliminate the barriers that stand between those suffering and the help they need. Your support matters more than you know. The time to act is now! By having your photograph taken at the exhibition and sharing on social media with the #dumpthescales you’ll be declaring to the world that you stand with those affected by eating disorders. Your simple gesture of support will go a long way toward creating a ripple effect of compassion and understanding.
Eating disorders are not just personal struggles; they are a call for societal change. We refuse to accept that we’re falling behind in combating this national tragedy!
Please do come and visit our exhibition in the Upper Waiting Room in the Houses of Parliament between 16&20 October, share your thoughts on the interactive board, and help us end the injustices of those affected by eating disorders!
Looking forward to seeing you there!
