“Eating Disorders: Unheard Stories of a Hidden National Tragedy”
From 16 October - 20 October 2023 we will be hosting a photo exhibition in Parliament: “Eating Disorders: Unheard Stories of a Hidden National Tragedy”
At the exhibition you will see some powerful stories, hear about different treatments and have the chance to add your name and thoughts to a board which will be delivered to the Prime Minister.
This event is not just an exhibition; it’s a movement towards change, compassion, and healing, and we need your support to make it happen.
Please do come along that week to show your support!
It would also be AMAZING if you could invite your local MP to attend!! a draft letter is below! And these letters really do work!!
Help us make as much noise about eating disorders - thank you so much!!

Dear X,
From 16 October - 20 October 2023 we will be hosting a photo exhibition in Parliament: “Eating Disorders: Unheard Stories of a Hidden National Tragedy”
At the exhibition you will see some powerful stories, and hear about different treatments on offer. You will hear first hand experiences of the things that impact your constituents

Let’s come together to raise awareness and eliminate the barriers that stand between those suffering and the help they need. Your support matters more than you know. The time to act is now!
By having your photograph taken at the exhibition and sharing on social media with the #dumpthescales you’ll be declaring to that you care about those affected by eating disorders. Your simple gesture of support will go a long way toward creating a ripple effect of compassion and understanding.
Eating disorders are not just personal struggles; they are a call for societal change.
