During his decade of service to the students of East Tennessee State University Dr. Dula changed the lives of countless students. Anyone you ask on campus will be sure to tell you how great of a professor and mentor he was to everyone. Dr. Dula made ETSU what it is now and was integral to the success of almost every student that has ever wore the navy blue and gold. During his battle with cancer he remained an inspiration to thousands, even being mentioned on social media sites for his unique way of starting class. Anyone that has ever had the pleasure of hearing his enthusiastic HELLOOOO at the beginning of a class would agree that not only Johnson City but the world has lost something special. I am calling for East Tennessee State University to dedicate the new Student Center to the late Dr. Chris Dula for he impacted the student body in ways no one else has before.
