As part of their consultation on the future of Early Help Services, East Sussex County Council has announced that it is looking to privatise their two OFSTED Outstanding nurseries based in Sidley and Egerton Park Children’s Centres.
 
This could force people to have to quit their jobs because of an increase in childcare costs, and would make a good start in life unaffordable for children in two of the most deprived communities in Bexhill.
