The former Parks Restaurant building in Uttoxeter has been sold to a care home company who wish to demolish the existing building and redevelop the site as a care home. This building is a much loved building in the area, and is a big part of the history of JCB, being the house that Joseph Bamford grew up in. It is a stunning tudor design building, and with the new development Bramshall Meadows, it is in a perfect place to thrive as a new food/drink business, and/or community hub.

Uttoxeter residents do NOT want this beautiful building demolished and this petition has been made to show that.
