Dear fellow friend of Huntly Park,
We are saving Huntly Park one signature at a time. Each new name added to the petition increases our community's mandate to oppose any housing development in the park.
We are a positive community and we don't just say 'no'. We are looking for improvements in the park. A community led café, all weather sports equipment and some community meadow flower planting are all achievable and would enrich our lives.
I am not quite at the point of sharing the petition with East Renfrewshire Council. There is no rush; they know what we are saying and how many are saying it. We have taken the initiative, so we have time to deepen our support. With that in mind, may I ask that you share the petition with 5 others and ask them to sign and pass along.
