23 year old Nosicelo Mtebeni a final year law student at the University of Fort Hare was in a relationship with her 25 year old boyfriend Alutha Pasile.

On the 19th August 2021 in East London, the torso and feet of Nosicelo were found in a suitcase. Some of Nosicelo's body parts were discovered in bags placed outside the boyfriend's residence, while her head and hands were discovered inside his room. Nosicelo was brutally murdered and dismembered! It is alleged he used a handsaw to dismember her body. This is one most gruesome murders we have seen in our country. The violence against women is only getting worse.

"The cases of Femicide and GBV, has taken a sharp increase from April this year", as stated by Min Bheki Cele himself. 

• We demand that the accused murderer Alutha be denied bail and that he remain behind bars for the duration of the trial.
• We also demand that he receives the harshest sentence with multiple life sentences.

As South African women, we fear for our lives and feel like we live in the most dangerous country in the world. 

So many men shown support towards what this guy did. This indicates a sign of trouble. More cases are still yet to come. 

Justice for Nosicelo, No Bail for Alutha Pasile. 

We are not safe, our daughters are not safe.
