So after many years of hearing horror stories about accidents and near misses at the golden pot crossroads from friends and Facebook stories, on Friday 8th november this year my partner and her mum were coming across the junction from the Avenue towards froyle road when a car travelling along the odiham road towards alton. He was travelling between 40 and 60 miles per hour when he struck them on the passenger side. He pushed the car a full 50 feet  the amazing fire service and ambulance service took 2 hours to extract my partner. She has 4 broken ribs and her lung is punctured in 2 places.

My aim through this petition is to get something done even if it putting the speed limit down to 30. Ideally traffic lights but I know this is probably unlikely. 

I am emailing the local councillor and probably our local mp.

Please support me as I cannot make a difference on my own and I would really like to make a difference before this horrible junction affects another family in a worse way
