Dear Warren Farm Nature Reserve supporter,
The sun is shining on #WarrenFarmNR today, our ground-nesting skylarks are here and buds are appearing on the trees that surround us – Spring is coming and with it all the positive feelings that new life brings!
In fantastic news, our petition has reached over 6500 signatures thanks to your on-going support! We are now only just 900 signatures away from reaching our next petition goal of 7500! Please continue to sign and share our petition with friends, family, neighbours and co-workers. Together we can show Ealing Council just how much support there is to have Warren Farm Nature Reserve and the surrounding Brent River Park Meadows given official Local Nature Reserve designation. Let’s keep going!
We are delighted to thank and welcome London National Park City. With London being the first in the world to become a National Park City and with their positive movement in making the city greener, wilder and healthier, they are a fantastic nature and community focussed group to give us their support;
“Warren Farm ticks all the boxes for being a Local Nature Reserve and is already making London National Park City greener, healthier and wilder. Let’s get the paperwork done.” - Paul de Zylva, Chair, London National Park City.
“As a local resident and founder of the London National Park City, I’m excited about the potential for Warren Farm and the surrounding meadows to become a Local Nature Reserve for the community, borough and city to be proud of. So close to Southall, Hanwell and Osterley, this site has extraordinary potential to benefit both people and wildlife. The site is already home to a diverse range of visiting and resident wildlife. All it needs now is some protection and investment.”— Dan Raven-Ellison, London National Park City Founder & Maker of Slow Ways.

Our next update will involve skylark news but for now, when visiting Warren Farm NR can we kindly ask that visitors and their dog friends please keep to the paths, out of the main meadow and longer grassed areas. Our skylarks are ground-nesting birds facing UK extinction and we are really very fortunate to have them here in our meadow. Sticking to the paths helps keep our rare skylarks and their chicks safe from harm and we still get to enjoy our walks whilst listening to their beautiful birdsong. Thank you.
Hoping you had sun-filled walks this weekend gone and wishing you a safe and birdsong-filled week ahead.

Pls note - donations made through the Change.org petition do not go to Warren Farm Nature Reserve or the BRCS. However, donations do allow Change.org to find like-minded people to support the petition, thereby allowing the petition to reach more supporters of nature. Thank you.
