Dear Warren Farm Nature Reserve supporters,

We had a wonderful wintry weekend covered in fresh snow here at #WarrenFarmNR and surrounding Brent River Park (BRP) Meadows. It felt like everyone's spirits were lifted, with snowmen built and snow balls thrown! During these difficult covid times nature and our green spaces are providing communities with both physical and mental health benefits more than ever. Open to all. 

On that note, we are delighted to welcome the Ramblers Association, West London Group who have joined us in supporting the Brent River & Canal Society's vision - calling for Warren Farm NR and BRP Meadows to be given official Local Nature Reserve (LNR) designation;

"We have a membership of nearly 500 people, mainly Ealing residents, and regularly walk as a group and individually in these precious urban meadows with their incredible species-rich diversity. In recent years the rewilding of these green spaces so close to densely populated areas has enabled residents to observe and appreciate many rare and endangered species of birds, insects and plants while out for their daily exercise. Their habitats, however, are very fragile and vulnerable to destruction..."
