Thank you all for your support in adding your collective voice to share with our Superintendent, School Board, Public Health Director, and other local and state level leaders. As you have likely heard, in accordance with a Public Health order from Eagle County Public Health, a mask mandate has been put into place effective Monday, August 16, 2021, in schools, until incidence rates in Eagle County falls at or below 50 per 100,000 for a minimum of seven continuous days, regardless of age or vaccination rate.  It is unfortunate news that the numbers in Eagle County have been climbing, however thanks to the thoughtful action of our Eagle County Public Health Director, and our Superintendent, our students began the school year with universal masking in place as recommended by the CDC and AAP, with the goal of keeping students safe and physically present in school. We thank you all for your support of our children and families, teachers, school district officials, school board members, and to the staff at the public health office for your hard work, time and consideration.
