We all know that trees beautify our world, but they do so much more than that. They supply the very necessities of life itself.

But these life necessities are under attack around the globe. If ever there was a time to plant trees, now is that time.

Trees filter pollutants out of the air and water. They protect us from dangerous heat and flooding. They lower urban temperatures, decrease energy usage, and capture carbon to slow the rate of climate change. Resources from forests help to keep people out of extreme poverty. Green environments encourage physical activity, improve cognitive ability, and reduce stress. And trees bring communities together.

In short, trees are simply amazing. Each tree we plant makes the world better for generations to come.
