PVZ GW, Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare, was a huge success in 2014. PVZ GW 2 was a bigger success in 2016 that still has an active player base. PVZ battle for neighborville was the downfall of the series in 2019 with not nearly as much support as PVZ GW and PVZ GW 2. Many people would play a PVZ GW 3 especially on next gen consoles. 
 
It has been 5 years since a plants vs. zombies, PVZ, shooter game, and it has been 8 since a good one. So many people still play PVZ garden warfare 1 and 2. A lot of others still play battle for neighborville. 

A PVZ GW game on new gen hardware has so much potential. The rumors of playstation making a new console in a couple years is promising too. These games have been such successes, PVZ GW and GW 2. If they stick to the class selection of GW 2 this game would be a major success.
