Remaster 'Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2'
The Issue
The Command and Conquer series has had a long run in the past. From developers 'Westwood Studios' to 'EA LA', to all the drama and havoc that went down, such spiraling into success and also into inevitable failure. C&C Fans have been all over the place, keeping the C&C RTS genre alive through community mods and free spin-offs.
As a fan of the Series, one particular game stands out for me the most, and it is the game "Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2." There's something about this game, along with it's 'Yuri's Revenge' expansion, that is different and quite extraordinary to this day. From design to game-play, this game was a gem. The soundtrack and the story, along with all the talented actors, were just top notch for me and many alike. I still meet people today, who still play the game and its expansion.
CNCNET is quite credible for keeping the game alive and available online to those who have it. Not to mention all the terrific community mods submitted on MODDB, still maintained and updated frequently.
It's 2017 and I can't help but notice all these old classic games return to light through remasters and remakes. Hence, I can't stop hoping and wishing for something similar to Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge. A Remaster would be phenomenal given the chance to relive the epic moments with Allied Forces, Soviets, and of course none other than the mastermind himself, Yuri.
By all means, keep the videos, story, and soundtrack all the same. Enhance what is possible, such as graphics and integration to newer operating systems such as Windows 10. A 2.5D style would be fitting and most welcoming for a texture enhancement. And let's keep it realistic this time, not too goofy as RA3 was with its cartoon-like textures.
It's been long since anything official has come regarding the Command and Conquer Series, and this may just ignite a chance for redemption, due for all true fans and employees alike. Not to mention future possible additions to the series, and more remasters.
Is this too much to ask for? Perhaps. But I have a hunch, many will be willing to sign this petition. We will gladly pay for this series to be reborn from the ashes.

PS: For any doubters out there, keep in mind that someone has already developed a concept of Red Alert 2 on the Unreal Engine with VR game play compatibility. Yes, it's true, look it up. If they can do it, so can EA LA.
