The griddy has become increasingly popular as a celebration in the NFL and as a dance among football players in general. It’s not just Justin Jefferson and his Viking teammates many other players from other teams have started celebrating touchdowns with the griddy like the panthers and Jaguars. Justin Jefferson is on pace to be the best rookie wr in this class and has had insane numbers so far. Recently he appeared on GMFB and said that he planned to continue the dance till it was implemented into madden. Justin Jefferson has been an incredible rookie and with celebrations like the shoe being in madden the griddy would make even more sense as it was even mainly popularized by an NFL player having a break out season. Even though we in the madden community are very aware EA could care less about what we want, they tend to care about adding things for social media traction, like adding Giannis Antetokounmpo in the game. I think there’s an actual chance this could get added because of the presence it has in media.
