I thank you and I thank your fellow students for the petition which you have sent to me and the university administration regarding the issues confronting mental health, the Carruth Center, and how we best address them. For your suggestions and devotion to bettering the university, I am truly grateful. Needless to say, we will take all of these issues raised very seriously. But, let me note that we already have started to address or addressed many of the concerns that have been raised. I look forward to working with you and the students in making this a very, very healthy campus.
