Please could I ask people to print the QR code and post where ever you can, shop windows, work place, back of your car, wherever you think it will be seen. 
The 1st of April 2024 will be the first year anniversary of losing my son so cruelly to meningitis. 
My son went to see his ‘girlfriend’ as he was feeling unwell and didn’t want to be alone. He collapsed at her mums house shortly after he arrived. Sadly the mother had drugs in her home and as a result she refused to allow her daughter and one other young adult to call for an ambulance. Matthew collapsed on the 30th March early in the morning, he stayed in that flat severely ill, fever, headache, sickness, fatigue and he even soiled himself! 
The mother still did not even notify me or anyone about Matthew being so ill and he progressively got worse and worse as the sepsis spread. Despite this, she let my son stay in that state with no medical attention and the two youngsters in the house eventually locked themselves in the bathroom to call for help as she was still refusing to call for an ambulance! It wasn’t until 14:28 on the 31st, over 24 hours later that emergency services were notified of Matthews symptoms and he eventually had an ambulance arrive to him 45 mins later! Precious hours were wasted! Hours where my son could have been in hospital receiving the medical assistance he desperately needed! Unfortunately it was too late and as soon as he arrived at hospital he got placed into an induced coma where extreme efforts were made to save his life. It was too late for him as the sepsis had spread to his brain stem and spinal cord. 
I am still in conversations with the police desperately trying to get some justice for my son! As there is no law or public duty of care, this is proving extremely difficult! 
Here I am almost a year later fighting for justice and fighting against the government alone to get this law changed! It should be down to morals for every human to help one another, but sadly there are people out there like the woman in that flat with my son who do not care for another human life! People are needlessly losing their lives because there is no consequences to their actions! 
I just want others to imagine how they would feel knowing one of their loved ones suffered and died because someone refused to call for help. It should not be this hard to get justice when his life could have been saved if she had called for an ambulance immediately after Matthew collapsed in her home! She was so concerned about her drug stash that she refused and as a result my son suffered for hours! She sat in that flat and blatantly refused him to right to life! 
Please help me by printing the QR code and pass it on where ever you can. 
I can not do this alone!

I need my time to grieve my son. 

I really appreciate everyone with who signs and shares this petition! I need 100,000 signatures to get it heard in parliament so please give my son Matthew an opportunity to be heard. Through me being his voice, hopefully one day I will get justice for my son and also Matthew will have a legacy and this could save others in the future suffering or even passing away due to someone turning a blind eye.
