To STOP the current petition to change the mascot of Boone High School.  It's a proud historical mascot of the school and a community mascot.  The Braves represent the spirit of the school and to get rid of the mascot would be to forget the natives of the land that were here before us and would be forgotten with time.   Never once was the mascot used in a negative light or mocking any native americans or tribes. 

Join us in this petition to put a stop to the erasing of the history of our land and forcing us to agree with something that was done behind our backs and by people that aren't a part of our community.
