UCU members are striking over cuts to their pensions and the 'Four Fights' - casualisation, equalities, pay and workload. Durham UCU members are amongst UCU members in 58 universities that are going on strike.

I support staff in the UCU in their fights for:

• fair and equal pay
• pay keeping up with inflation
• pay for all work required
• a 35 hour working week
• employee contracts
• an end to zero hour contracts and hourly paid lecturer contracts

I stand with the UCU against the outsourcing of staff and against pension cuts.
