Hamsterley is a beautiful village with a great community with people of all ages. The problem we are facing is a great increase in SPEEDING traffic which has become very dangerous. We need a traffic management system, for example, with a 20MPH LIMIT and SPEED HUMPS. The police and Durham County Council need to take action BEFORE a fatal accident. Two near misses have been reported recently involving young children. Please help us keep our children safe in their own village!
