People are spreading a not so true story about these birds. I live in the area and my parents live near to where these birds are located. Their car has never been damaged and the birds don't chase you. They are actually very timid and run out of your way if approached. These birds have been in the area for 12 to 13 years they are really beautiful for people to see, you don't expect to go into a village and see peacocks walking around - it brings character to the area. They have lived in the area a lot longer than some of the residents that live there now - if they are trying to get rid of these birds based on rumours and false complaints then it will be a big loss for the area.
