First, the Sustainable Transport Strategy meeting on Monday 30th November where DCC have contracted JMP consultants to draft a strategy for 2015-30 - the Trust Pathways were named in the document and strong support for cycling infrastructure throughout the city were endorsed. Second, on Friday 4th December the Greenspace Leader Prof Tim Burt, Adrian White - Head of Sustainable Transport, Graeme Grief - Public Health, DBUG and I conducted a field site tour from the Swan & Cygnets to Ustinov College. The Project Initiation Document (PID) is now being drawn up to approve the Trust Pathways and once signed off the work can commence! Great steps towards the pathways becoming a reality!
