Please sign our petition to have Duolingo develop the language class of Persian/Farsi/Dari/Tajik! It's been long-awaited and we would love to show the company how many people are really interested in learning Persian, Farsi, Tajik and/or Dari. Let's all show appreciation for the language and culture by signing this petition. 

WHO

Persian is spoken by nearly 110 Million people in the world. It is the official language of 4 countries including Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Dagestan, and spoken in dozens more!

WHY

It's a beautiful language that has lasted hundreds of years and the best way of understanding the Persian culture is through the language! Not to mention, the most beautiful poetry is in Persian! Furthermore, the Persian diaspora is estimated to be over 4.5 million worldwide. 

As we all know and love Duolingo for the amazing work they do already, we can hopefully show them how adding Persian/Farsi/Tajik/Dari to their library would be one of the greatest achievements to this community and future learners.
