Many of us have fond memories of family times where someone always brought a cake that had Duncan Hines canned Caramel icing. It has been a staple for family gatherings and desserts for over 50 years. They made the decision to discontinue that flavor on their canned icing. They created something called Frosting Creations that you could add a caramel flavor packet to but it was not as good and the frosting did not hold up as well. People world wide are begging them to bring back the original caramel frosting in the plastic containers like all their other frosting. It has been an American staple for decades and it is very sad that a company that well known and well loved for their products would just drop such an important part of our baking needs without taking a survey or asking the consumer if they would like to continue having it available. We urge everyone to sign this petition to bring back the caramel frosting. There are many people I know who have quit buying Duncan Hines products totally simply because they are so upset with the decision to discontinue the caramel frosting.
